Changes

TODAY'S QUOTE:
"Change your thoughts, and you change your world.".... Norman Vincent Peale

The brain is such a powerful tool, too often under-used or under-fed, yet it is capable of so much more than the obvious. But... without control over what enters... then whatever direction it takes once inside, we are at the mercy of a tyrant. Jumping through hoops held out over steep drops is a common practice of any of us who just let our minds drift. And that makes about as much sense as sky-diving without a parachute.

Minds left to idly wander go places not worth visiting and always create such havoc in the process. But, a bit of protection goes a long way. Our computers are never left unprotected, yet too many of us leave the fire walls down inside our minds. We suffer the same sort of melt down when overloaded inside our human computer as a mechanical one. Why stuff your circuits with bull-shit negatives that only blue screen the brain?

A thought has no merit just because we think it, a lot of notions are better dismissed as soon as they appear. Some are profound and of worth beyond their weight in gold. Some are simply bothersome pop ups that should be instantly closed and forgotten. But without careful evaluation of the treasures and instant tossing of the debris, they all get wadded up together in a mighty tangle.

A gridlock of the brain is not a pleasant experience. The more you allow your mind to ramble the more it will voice nonsense that upends any hope of measured thought. Without control how can we ever expect to.... think about it.... let it ride.... then YOU decide!!!!
