TODAY'S QUOTE:
"Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy ".... Dale Carnegie
Fear paralyzes from the inside out. Once it has a firm hold it is pure agony to uncurl its clinched fingers. When your mind panics the rest of you does as well, making every step as brutal as if your feet were incased in concrete. But the only way to shake loose is to move in spite of it... not blindly, but with deliberation.
Without forethought any moves made during moments of high-anxiety often cause us to head in the most self-destructive directions. Knee-jerking through life inspires one drama after another when all we are really seeking is peace. Actions taken in our weakest moments need to always head down a positive path, or it is much wiser to not move at all. Balance is more than just a word, it is a way of walking that keeps us always upright, no matter how the wind tries to knock us down.
Fear is our enemy; most often it is self-induced and the prison walls are only as thick as we erect them. To escape is not easy, but then nothing worth a shit ever is a simple task. Fright never killed anyone, but giving into it can steal a full life and make a zombie out of the best of us if we allow it to take control.
Walking wounded we may be... life hurts like hell sometimes... but as long as we are determined to get the most out of it as possible there is hope for more tomorrow than we have today. Fearing life clouds the brain, causing acceptance of whatever we have as all we deserve, which is bull-shit of the stinkiest sort. I know, I have shoveled a mountain of it in my lifetime and fear never helped me lift even a spoon full. In fact, it only made each scoop that much heavier.
Walk the walk until it becomes habit. Act as if you deserve a fearless existence and before long you will find that your fear does not paralyze you, it will begin to piss you off when it appears as a barrier to what you really seek. Act until fact... and as always.... think about it.... let it ride.... then decide!!!!
